This album has been a deeply personal and inspired project, rooted in the powerful stillness and layered acoustics of canyon landscapes. Each piece on the album began as a multi-instrumental, densely layered work which was then distilled to a separate guitar track — minimalist, spacious, and meditative. This creates a call-and-response feeling throughout the album. The interplay between the sparse beginnings and the richer echoes that follow mirrors how sound travels and transforms in nature.
